Before you pay more for a cordless vacuum, take a look at what you already get with Flow.
A vacuum should have the power to clean, the battery life to finish the job and the flexibility to get around. It should handle hair and make it easy to see the dust you might otherwise miss.
That was our starting point with Scanovus Flow™: bringing together the features we would prioritize ourselves, at a price more people can afford.
The price is € 269,00. Here is why we believe Flow deserves a place near the top of your shortlist.
We tried the alternatives before choosing the features
While working on Flow, we tried other cordless vacuums to find out which features we wanted to prioritize in our own.
We looked at suction and battery life, but also at the experience of cleaning. How easily does the vacuum move around? How does the brush handle hair? Can the battery be replaced? And is it practical when several people in the household use it?
We did not want to build the product around one impressive specification. We wanted the features to work well together.
After all, what is the point of getting rid of the cord if everything else still feels like a hassle?
Suction and anti-tangle: For more than crumbs
Pet hair on the floor. Long hair on the carpet. Dust along the baseboards. These are the kinds of tasks we had in mind with Flow.
You get up to 35,000 Pa of suction pressure, three suction settings and an anti-tangle brush, which helps reduce hair wrapping around the brush roller. Flow can be used on both hard floors and carpets.
The combination of suction pressure and the brush is an important priority for us. When the dog is shedding, or long hair is a regular part of cleaning, the focus should not be on the motor's numbers alone.
The brush still needs to be checked and cleaned as needed. But the aim is clear: hair should come off the floor without maintenance becoming a major project.
When comparing alternatives, look at both suction and the brush design. Maximum suction pressure is a relevant specification — not, on its own, a test of overall cleaning performance.
Battery life — and the freedom to keep going
Flow offers up to 50 minutes of battery life, with the longest runtime in Eco mode. Higher suction settings reduce runtime.
But our priorities go beyond a number of minutes.
The battery can be removed, charged separately and replaced. You can also buy an extra battery and swap it during cleaning, so you can keep going while the other one charges.
That gives you more options: one battery for your everyday needs, an extra for longer cleaning sessions or a replacement battery when needed.
Compare the whole battery setup — not just the longest advertised runtime. Which setting does that runtime apply to? And what do you do when the battery needs charging or replacing?
Flexibility and LED lights: Reach the dust — and see it
Dust does not just sit in the middle of the floor. It hides along baseboards, around chair legs and under furniture.
Flow combines 180-degree flexibility in the brush head with LED lights, making dust and dirt easier to see. The detachable handheld vacuum and three included attachments also let you clean furniture, crevices and the car.
We believe these features should be part of your decision from the start — not something you only think about when you get home and find yourself missing them.
For us, they go together: you should be able to reach the dust, see it and adapt the vacuum to the task. Otherwise, suction only tells part of the story.
The practical details are included
Flow also offers adjustable height, a 1,000 ml bagless dust container and the ability to stand on its own in its folded storage position.
These features do not replace the key cleaning functions. They support them.
Our thinking is that the vacuum should suit both the person using it and the home it becomes part of. That is why we have also prioritized an understated look.
It can stay out on display. But above all, it should be worth picking up and using.
Why choose Flow over another vacuum?
If your budget is around € 200–400, we would start with cleaning: suction, battery life, hair handling, flexibility and LED lights. Then battery replacement, accessories and the other details.
This is where we would like you to compare Flow closely. Our argument is the combination — not one feature that has to justify the entire purchase.
Considering a more expensive model? Look at the extra features you get for the additional cost and whether you need them. When your most important requirements are already covered, there should be a good reason to pay more.
Considering a cheaper model? Check what you might be giving up. A lower price is appealing if the product still meets your needs. Less so if you later find yourself missing the very feature that was supposed to make cleaning easier.
We believe a good purchase is about what you actually get for the amount you actually pay. Not the size of the discount on the sign.
Thinking beyond the purchase
Our work does not stop when the vacuum is unboxed. You will find short product guides on our website, and extra batteries and replacement filters are available to buy for Flow.
That is also worth including in your comparison: can you get help using the product and find the parts you need?
For us, that is part of offering a solution that makes sense in everyday life.
Try Flow where it needs to work
When you buy from Scanovus, you get a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, so you can try Flow at home. See the full returns policy, including the conditions regarding original packaging and included parts.
You do not have to love vacuuming. It should simply be less of a hassle to get it done.
That is why we think you should consider Flow: not because one specification says it all, but because we have brought together the features we would choose ourselves, at a price that makes sense.
